Membrane Switches and Keypads

A membrane switches area low powered thin and flexible electrical switches which are designed to integrate with machine to perform specific functions such as turning circuit On and Off. Membrane switches are printed circuits that require figure pressure to open and close the circuit. Membrane switches functions as a normally open, momentary contact, low voltage, pressure sensitive circuit.

Thin, 4-9 layers of many different materials and adhesives can be used in construction of a membrane switches. Membrane switches design can be integrated to use with various overlay materials such as PC and PET. It can be directly applied even on slightly curved surfaces.

Membrane switches designs are becoming increasingly more sophisticated every day. The simple, versatile, durable and economical design of a custom membrane switches makes it a superior alternative to the mechanical switches. Verities of textures and flexibility are the strongest suit of membrane switches and can be easily tailored to the specifics of your project.
